Experience in network operation, Implementation in routing, hardware and software is required
Skills
Minimum education or qualification such as a Bachelors degree in a computer network related field; (B.E/B.Tech ECE, IT, or CSE or MCA or equivalent)
Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE and/or equivalent Mikrotik certifications are highly desirable and those will help to get select in interview.
Strong TCP/IP routing skills, i.e. routers, switches, firewalls and network monitoring systems
Knowledge on application performance monitors and network analyzers.
Working Knowledge on Network Monitoring Systems and IPSLAs, NETFLOWS etc.,
Expert level knowledge in Cisco/Huawei/Mikrotik Technology and willing to work on shift basis.
Excellent hands on experience in routing: OSPF, BGP,MPLS. Switching: VLAN,FHRP, VPC, Fabricpath, STP & port channel.
Responsibilities and Duties
Leading the L1 & L2 Teams and identifying the gaps in the network and need to provide the solution.
Schedule & manage Helpdesk (Cust Care, L1, L2) Operations / shift schedules efficiently to ensure sufficient manpower available 24x7x365 to handle calls
Proactively & reactively involve in resolution of issues at Network / customer end
Deploy ways & means to achieve outage free Network & minimum TTR in case of outages
Analyzes network logs, troubleshoot, and tracks the incident and resolution of problems.
Be a bridget between L1, L2 teams & NOC team
Should be an independent Technical Resource who is self-driven. Will only have adminstrative reporting.
Configure and install router, switches and firewalls.
Performing detailed analysis of plans, outages
Prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations.
install new network hardware, software and services.
Establish backup policies and procedures.
Escalation procedures, policies and working practices are adhered to
Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT systems using agreed troubleshooting methodologies
Manage support cases to enable fast resolution that exceedsour customers’ expectations
Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using the Company’s ticket management tool and closing within agreed timeframes
Supporting and taking ownership of ad-hoc projects to develop the capabilities of the Ideal Service Centre
Supporting wider team with knowledge share, via knowledge base communications (emails, how-to guides etc.) andcontribution at team meetings
All records relating to Service Requests, Incidents, Problemsand Knowledge Management are completed accurately andwithin agreed timeframe
Proven experience in ISP environment, incident management, service request management and problem solving
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to understand client requirements
Accurate recording of information
A self-motivated attitude
Ability todeliver against deadlines and agreed targets
